Trainer: Sovna Puri, Level 4 Dip-WSET, London
Sovna's first steps into the wine industry began with an internship in France in a Michelin starred Relais & Chateaux property. After moving to London, she worked with Benares, an Indian Michelin starred restaurant as the Assistant Head Sommelier for over 2 years. While there, she successfully completed the Level 3 Advanced course in wines & spirits and the wine educators training from WSET, graduating with merit. She has successfully completed the Level 4 Diploma in Wines & Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), London in April 2018. This makes her one of a handful of Indians who hold this qualification.
