Kim Crawford Wines is the personal vehicle of Kim Crawford, one of New Zealand’s top wine makers. Rather than being situated in one specific area of New Zealand, the winery is a ‘virtual vineyard’ utilising small selected vineyards in Marlborough, Gisborne and the Hawke’s Bay, where Kim believes the grapes grow best. Kim’s wines have won too many awards to list, but one of the most recent successes include the Wine Spectators Trophy for the Best New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc 2007.

Medium depth of colour with purple and crimson notes. An aromatic wine with black cherries, red currants and strawberries on the nose, complexed with well integrated oak. Lovely fresh fruit on the palate with hints of oak. Good firm tannins give the wine length and weight.

Pale green. Lifted aromatics of tropical fruits combined with the traditional nettle and herbaceous aromas of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Firm acidity is surrounded by hints of sweet, tropical fruits and herbaceous notes with hints of citrus sneaking in. A whopping mouthful of Marlborough.
