Ruffino

Founded in 1877, the House of Ruffino is the fruit of Ilario and Leopold Ruffino who were inspired by their love for the Chianti Hills in Tuscany, Italy. Today the House of Ruffino is a world-renowned ambassador of Chianti Classico as well as other wines of extraordinary class and personality.


Orvieto Classico
Orvieto Classico D.O.C.
This straw-yellow, fragrant wine has a nose of meadow flowers and green apples. It is fresh and harmonious with an aftertaste of citrus fruit.
 
Pair with lightly seasoned grilled vegetables, seafood dishes, soups, and mild cheeses.
 
Serve chilled, 10-12ºC.
 
Libaio
Chardonnay Toscana I.G.T.
Delicate, complex aromas of summer flowers and citrus fruit lead to aromatic notes of sage. It is delightfully well-balanced on the palate with hints of golden delicious apples and orange peel, and has a considerably long finish.
 
Pair with pastas, seafood dishes and tomato-based dishes such as rasam.
 
Serve chilled, 8-10ºC.
         
Aziano
Chianti Classico D.O.C.G.
This deep, ruby-red wine has a vibrant and inviting aroma. Sangiovese grapes give it characteristic notes of sweet violet, red berries, and Morello cherries with a hint of spice. The wine is well-balanced and has a long, velvety finish.
 
Pair with tandoori chicken, vegetable gratin, and mild cheeses.
 
Serve slightly chilled, 12-15°C
 
Modus
Toscana I.G.T.
A deep ruby-red in colour, this wine boasts a rich black fruit nose that continues on the palate along with coffee flavours and velvety tannins. The finish is long, lush, and round.
 
Pair with lamb, rich vegetable dishes, and seasoned cheeses.
 
Serve slightly chilled, 12-15°C
         
Chianti Ruffino

Pale, ruby red in colour in classic Chianti style, this wine is complex with flowery notes of sweet violet and fruit. Good structure, pleasingly well-balanced with a long finish.
 
Pair with baked dishes, spicy cutlets, and pastas.
 
Serve slightly chilled, 12-15°C
 
Riserva Ducale
Chianti Classico Reserve D.O.C.G.
This wine expresses ripe fruit aromas and tastes, as well as characteristics such as leather and cedar. Its velvety texture, full body and complexity mark it as a truly superior Chianti Classico Riserva.
 
Pair with roast meats and vegetables, rich stews, and tomato-based pastas
